Lights On to Handle International Sales and Distribution of “A Sweet Day”

Italian world sales company Lights On has acquired the international sales and distribution rights to Omid Abdollahi’s short fiction film “A Sweet Day” (Yek Rooz-e Shirin).
Based in Italy, Lights On is a world sales company dedicated to quality cinema and emerging filmmakers, supporting their work from short films to feature-length projects. The company has represented acclaimed international short films and emerging filmmakers at major festivals around the world, including Cannes, Locarno, Venice, Berlinale, Sundance and Toronto.
“A Sweet Day,” produced by Doornama Studio, is an 18-minute drama directed by Omid Abdollahi and written by Omid Abdollahi and Solmaz Haddadian.
The film has begun its international festival journey with selections at major festivals, including the Locarno Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival. Lights On will represent the film internationally, handling its sales and distribution to festivals and other international platforms.
